the warm, wonderful smelling kitchen

Oh My Chocolate Goodness

. Sunday, November 5, 2023 .

If I close my eyes and pretend I am sitting on the back deck at our house in WI I can smell the Nestle's factory in Burlington.  If the wind is just right you can smell chocolate goodness.  It sure is better than the other smell we smelled most of the time...cow manure.

I am so lucky that the Wammyville parents load up chocolate candy after Trick-or-Treat.  This year I think I have enough for two pies.

Candy Bar Pie is so easy to make especially if you use store-bought crust.

Candy Bar Pie Recipe

Bake a pie crust for 10 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
Fill the baked pie crust with all the chocolate candy you love.  I usually cut the larger bars into several smaller pieces.  Put the filled shell back in the oven for 30-40 minutes.

You are welcome!
