The menu made my mouth water! But the WV in me told me that I needed to try the fried bologna. I know, I know. The good thing is we WILL go back!
This is Kaitlin. She was so funny, kind, and knowledgeable about all the aspects of the place. And come to find out we have a mutual friend...Tammie Smith! Thanks for making our first trip so wonderful.
So here is my fried bologna! Not at all what I expected in my little WV brain. But was it off the charts for me? I think not everyone would be as excited about this experience as me and maybe my sister. I know my father-in-law would be shaking his head and saying that's not a fried bologna sandwich. But I am here to tell you it was delicious and filling! The fries were some of the best that I have ever put in my mouth! The perfect crispness and salted to perfection. And I loved the title hatchet brand they put on top of the bun! Nice touch!
Mark's fish sandwich was huge and those little sweet tots with maple syrup...oh my word!
Everyone was so kind and bent over backward to make sure that our experience could be the best that it could be. We will go back for sure to try a burger or two. Maybe an adult Wammyville trip?
