We have been given several gift certificates for the Bite Restaurant but until now have not been able to make ourselves go. What a mistake on our part! It is not even five minutes from our house.
It is a renovated one level rehabbed house. One of my favorite parts is they have a farmhouse table right where you come in the front door. If you come with no reservation you get to sit there. Who knows who you might be eating dinner with. What a great way to make new friends!
They also grow some of their own vegetables. The gardens are right in the front yard. And there are some in the backyard too.
I had to take a pic of part of the menu to remember what our appetizer was called.
This was our appetizer...aged sausage flatbread, figs, caramelized onions, Gorgonzola.
Mark had blueberry maple salmon over jasmine rice and avocado cream.
I tried Cuban pork over jasmine rice, avocado cream, and black bean corn salsa.
And this is how it ended! We are members of the clean plate, so wanted to lick the rest club.
