Ellis wanted so bad to ride his bike from our house, up the bike trail to The Work's Brick Oven Pizza Restaurant. We talked him into taking the car...we had just been to the Urgent care for him and the temp out side prevented you from even walking to the mailbox at the end of the driveway. We promised in the fall we would make the trip.
After lunch we drove to the other end of the parking lot to get a sweet treat from Caffeine Dreams. I love this place. Every time I go in, the owner is piecing quilt squares, so you know it is my kind of place.
We dug thru the cooler until we found just the right treat. Cassie chose frozen cheesecake on a stick that had been dipped in chocolate. Makes my mouth water!
My favorite of all times is the Monkey Bar...frozen banana coated with peanut butter, chocolate and the rolled in crushed peanuts. Best sweet treat ever!
Alaire at her ice cream really fast so she could go out and pet Momma. She (Momma) loves to have her belly rubbed.
I think Ellis had a drumstick. He ate almost of it...but you can see by his face he does not feel to swift.
Not only sweet treats are offered, but pastries, coffee, Internet service, jewelery, books, crafts from area artisans. It is just a fun place to visit and get cool.
